Before this match, Mithali Raj had a total of 9,965 international runs in his account. Mithali was dismissed for 36 off 50 balls. Overall, Mithali is just another woman cricketer in the world who has achieved this feat.

Former England cricketer Sharlet Edwards is the first female cricketer to do so. Mithali Raj has scored 663 Test runs, 2364 T20 runs and 6974 ODI International runs. India had lost two wickets for 64 runs. After this Mithali Raj and Poonam Raut together handled the Indian innings. Together, the two took the score to 141 runs. Mithali Raj hit five fours during her innings.

India vs South Africa Women: First T20 match to be played today, injured Harmanpreet will not be part of the team

India Women vs South Africa Women 1st T20: Indian women's T20 team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has been ruled out of the first match played against South Africa at the Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium today due to injury. In the absence of Harmanpreet, the team's vice-captain Smriti Mandhana will take over the captaincy.
