One of the most famous couples in the United States, the one formed by Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodríguez has separated after a 4-year relationship, sources close to both have reported to the TMZ medium.  The former professional baseball player proposed to the singer in 2019 with a huge engagement ring that went around the world and both were very excited about the wedding that was going to take place in 2020. As a result of the restrictions imposed by the crisis sanitary, they had to postpone it to this year and Jennifer claimed to feel very sad at the change in plans that this entailed, as she stated in an interview she gave last year. 

The last time we were able to see them together at a public event was at the inauguration of the candidacy of President John Biden, in which event Jennifer performed, and where the couple was affectionate and very close.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodríguez have always shown an incredible connection and complicity. Throughout the relationship, there have been numerous rumors of crisis and disloyalty to which the couple has remained oblivious. New information arrived about a possible pothole between the two that they tried to settle with their last appearances together. 

The artist is in the Dominican Republic shooting a movie while her fiancé stayed in Miami, where they both reside. We do not know what could have happened for the couple to have made this decision or if they would have already canceled all their wedding plans, but the reason must be important so that, 4 years later, they take different paths.

Jennifer Lopez has two twin children with her previous marriage to Marc Anthony, Max, and Emme, 13, with whom she recently celebrated her birthday with some emotional words: " My precious babies today are teenagers! My God! I can't believe 13 years have passed since I carried them in my arms in the middle of a snowstorm. Two perfect coconuts came out of that blizzard that reorganized my life and taught me the true meaning of love. 

It has been the most magical trip full of adventure and joy since then, "the artist commented excitedly on a very special day for her and her little ones with whom she shared a wonderful day, full of surprises. The twins got along very well with Alex Rodríguez's daughters, Natasha (16) and Ella (12) who he shares with Cyntia Scurtis. The whole family usually makes plans together regularly like playing baseball in the garden.

 

In 2019, a video came to light that showed that the former New York Yankees player's crush on the singer came long before they started dating in mid-2017.  MLB Network published an audiovisual piece featuring a 23-year-old Alex. admitting that his "dream date" would be with the artist, who at that time was already a star. 

The exact words of the American to a journalist's question were: "Jennifer Lopez, I hope you can get me a date with her." It was Álex Rodríguez himself who shared it through networks. "I had a feeling", he wrote next to a smiley face. Both lived an idyllic history since they met in 2017 and that has marked its end in 2021 for reasons that are still unknown.
