Mumbai: Police in Mumbai have registered an FRI case against Bollywood lovebirds Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani. Actions were taken for violating lockdown regulations.
According to the police, both the actors came out without a valid reason. Police arrested the two on-duty while on patrol at the Bandra Bandstand on Tuesday evening.
Police said Tiger Shroff was a resident of Bandra (West). After interrogating the two, police found that they had come out for a drive.
To this extent, a case has been registered for coming out without a proper reason and violating the lockdown rules, and roaming in public places.
An FIR was registered against the two under Section 188 of the IPC on Wednesday, a senior Mumbai police official said. Mumbai police are cracking down on them for violating lockdown rules.
So far 19,963 FIRs have been registered against 20,000 people for violating lockdown rules between April 5 and June 1.
The majority of the cases were registered against 6,664 persons for wandering outside without any reason, while 4,602 cases were registered for not wearing masks, the rest for violating restraints and bringing out vehicles, officials said.
