Worship Lord Vishnu methodically,
Deepdan should also be done at night on this day.
It will be very beneficial to do bhajan kirtan of Lord Vishnu on the night of Ekadashi.

Importance of Devshayani Ekadashi
According to the beliefs, from Devshayani Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu and other deities go into a sleeping posture for a total of four months.
This is the reason why it is also called Chaturmas.
After Devshayani Ekadashi, all auspicious work will be prohibited for four months.
Then Devuthani Ekadashi i.e. November 14, all auspicious work will start from Shukla Paksha of Kartik month.
According to the Hindu religion, Lord Shiva will govern the universe from Devshayani Ekadashi.
There are a total of 24 Krishna Paksha and Shukla Paksha Ekadashi in a year.
It is said that after taking a rest from Devshayani Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu takes charge of the creation on the day of Devuthani Ekadashi.
