The Indian men's hockey team created history after their victory in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The team defeated Germany to win the bronze medal, and Indians around the world are very excited.
The whole country is celebrating and soon after the victory, good wishes started pouring in. From politicians to film actors to cricketers, everyone has been seen sharing their excitement on their social media pages. This is India's first win after the 1980 Moscow Olympics.
Toofan actor Farhan Akhtar also shared his excitement on Twitter but got trolled at large. Yes, the actor wrote on his Twitter, "Go girls!!! Proud of #teamIndia for showing exemplary fighting spirit & bringing us our 4th medal. Super stuff. #Tokyo2020 #Hockey."
Farhan mistakenly congratulated the blue men for making the country proud instead of congratulating the Indian women's hockey team.
After realizing his mistake, Farhan immediately deleted the tweet and posted a new one. But some people took a screenshot of the tweet, started sharing it, and started celebrating field day on Twitter.
