In our culture, the place of Guru is above God. Guruji is of great importance. Nothing is possible without their blessings, whatever new project the department has started is commendable. There are people of all kinds of professions in society. They did not have to go daily. 

Teachers in society are such people who have to go to them regularly. The teacher has an important role in giving direction to society. We believe in teachers. He said that teachers are the guides of society. The responsibility of society is on them, which they have to fulfill. They give birth to a new generation. Lack of character, so we are behind. The biggest responsibility of the teachers is to build the character of the students.

 

He said that when someone is honored, good is said about him. They have to live up to the things said while being honored. The new education policy will bring many important changes. Every teacher should consider and resolve that what is my role in implementing the new education policy.

 

Kamal Kishore, a recipient of the National Teacher Award, was also felicitated at Peterhof. He was formally welcomed in the morning at the Secretariat. He participated in the virtual program of the national program organized by the Centre. He then proceeded to Peter Half, where he was honored. Apart from this, 18 teachers were honored with state-level awards.

 

No progress without Guru: Bharadwaj

 

Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj said that the new education policy will bring many changes. He said that every parent wants their child to get a good education. Himachal ranks highest in the field of education despite having fewer resources. The credit for this goes to the teachers. There is no progress without a Guru. The way to reach God is through the Guru. He said that commendable work was done during the Corona period. 

Himachal is the first state to start online education. Now the government is going to give mobile from door to door. Such children who were not able to study online due to lack of smartphones, now they will be able to study. The department deserves congratulations on this. The new education will also be in the mother tongue. Himachal students will give competition to private schools. English medium has also been started in government schools. Himachal has become the first state in the country to implement the new education policy.
